Information on the “Viribus Unitis“ association

Dear Sir or Madam

The “Verein der Freunde des HGM” (Association of the Friends of the Museum of Military History) has existed since April 1995. It was founded for the purpose of supporting the museum’s efforts to expand its collection and increase its importance with view to public awareness.
With the help of the Association, exhibits are purchased, the infrastructure improved and publications financed.

Likewise, plans of renovation, like recently those regarding the cut-away model of “Viribus Unitis”, are developed with the help of the Association.
